If you want to build or modify freeways or federal highways under federal administration, you need the approval of the Federal Highway Authority (FBA).

If you notice damage to a road, you can report it to the responsible authority.

Damage to inner-city federal highways and accompanying cycle paths should be reported to the LfS. For damage to inner-city footpaths, please contact the relevant municipality.

If you are involved in a project to expand public supply networks, you can apply to view the infrastructure atlas (ISA) and thus obtain information on network infrastructures in an area in order to prepare for shared use.

As the owner or operator of a telecommunications line, you require the consent of the landowner to lay or modify this infrastructure. If the property is a public highway, you must submit the application to the responsible highway authority.

If you have objections and comments on a planned change or new construction of a highway or federal road, you can submit these to the authority responsible for the project as part of the planning approval procedure.
