If you would like to become a tax consultant, you must apply for admission to the tax consultant examination.

Appointment as a tax consultant must be applied for at the relevant Chamber of Tax Consultants.

If, due to your (impending) disability or disabilities, you need assistance in finding an apprenticeship or job, or in securing your apprenticeship or job, you can receive support in the form of financial assistance or special services. 

If you are experiencing difficulties with your on-the-job vocational training or entry-level qualification program, you and your training company can receive support to help you successfully begin or complete your training or entry-level qualification program.

If, due to your disability, you need special support with vocational integration or to secure your job, the Employment Agency can commission a specialized integration service to assist you.

If you are continuing your education, you can receive financial support under the Upgrading Training Assistance Act (AFBG) under certain conditions.

If you provide vocational training or continuing education to people with disabilities, people with severe disabilities, or those deemed equivalent to them, you may be eligible for a training subsidy. If you subsequently hire people with severe disabilities on a permanent basis, you may be eligible for a wage subsidy.

Do you have a training qualification from abroad? Then you can apply to the Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK) in Germany for official recognition of your training qualification.

You would like to work as a doctor in Germany? Then you need a state licence, the Approbation.
You can also obtain the licence to practise medicine with a foreign professional qualification. To do so, you must have your professional qualification recognised.

Do you want to work permanently as a self-employed tradesperson in Germany? Then you must be entered in the register of skilled crafts. To do this, you need a specific professional qualification. You must have your foreign professional qualification recognized.

You would like to work permanently in Germany in a profession in the skilled trades or a trade similar to the skilled trades at journeyman level? Would you like access to a master school or examination? Then you can have your foreign professional qualification in the skilled crafts officially recognized.

Would you like to work permanently in Germany in a craft or similar trade that does not require a license at master craftsman level? Then you can have your foreign professional qualification officially recognized in the skilled crafts sector.

If you want to become a tax consultant, you generally have to pass the tax consultant examination.

If you would like to become a tax consultant, you can apply for an exemption from the tax consultant examination. This must be granted if certain requirements are met.

Are you receiving a grant from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) for a vocational training and continuing education project? If so, you can request disbursement of the funds once the project begins.

A residence permit can be issued for in-company or school-based vocational training in Germany.

Are you receiving a grant from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) for a vocational training and continuing education project? If so, you must submit annual interim reports and, upon completion of the project, a report detailing how the grant funds were used.

The DAAD, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, or the International Sustainability Campus may waive the right to appeal if you receive project funding from the BMZ under the budget line item “Vocational Training and Continuing Education.” This speeds up the disbursement of funds.
