The career orientation internship helps you to gain an in-depth insight into the respective apprenticeship or dual study program. You can gain practical information about the tasks, activities and working conditions in a company.

If you provide in-company training or further training for people with disabilities and severely disabled people, you can receive a training allowance. If you subsequently employ severely disabled people on a permanent basis, you can receive a wage subsidy.

Would you like to work permanently in Germany in a craft or similar trade that does not require a license at master craftsman level? Then you can have your foreign professional qualification officially recognized in the skilled crafts sector.

Are you receiving funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) for a vocational education and training project? Then you can request payment of the funds at the start of the project.

A residence permit can be issued for in-company or school-based vocational training in Germany.

The DAAD, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation or International Sustainability Campus can waive the right to appeal if you receive project funding from the BMZ under the Vocational Education and Training budget heading. This speeds up the payment process.

Do you receive funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) for a vocational education and training project? Then you must submit annual interim reports as well as a proof of use of funds after completion.
